The comfort 12  needs to be loaded with a front loader equipped with a bale fork. Load a hay bale and a
straw bale first, then use your front loader arm on your feed mixer to load silage out of the pit. This way you get a more balanced feed mixture.

I have loaded silage and hay bale, I don't want to sound  too thick, but, how do I make a straw bale?

Having made the mix how do I then feed it to the animals?

I feel I must be missing something obvious, but at the same time I have been trying for a couple of hours and am close to dispair,

Can anyone help please?

Regards  Dave

Straw's what gets dropped behind your harvester after you harvest wheat or barley ,just run your baler over the swaths and you get straw bales.

I got it wrong it was hay bales I couldn't make but I think I have it now, is it dried grass picked up by the baler?  thanks for your reply

thought that might be it ,yes it'd dried grass - mow it ,tedder it and then windrow it for the baler.
