1. make sure you have the User Attributes window open, (As seen in circle 1)
2. click on the field you want to edit and under the User Attributes window there should be field area and field price attribute. (As seen in circle 2) simply type the price and field size you want and Presto! you have edited the field size and price!
3. Now make sure you rename the fields in sequentual order. (As you see in circle 3)

But that does not change the actual size of the field. It only changes the size in the description box. Am I missing something here?

I would like to  know if you can merge two fields into one big one.

Yes, you can. You just have to delete both old field definitions and create a new one.

Indeed, that was my point that it would be nice to have a complete tutorial on the subject.

This topic is how to do the conversion to get field sizes and to find out what they are. Worked for me in the creation of Flatlands. http://fs-uk.com/forum/index.php?topic=122851.0

what moddermack said and also i just watched FarmerYip tutorials on map making and applied that to the new GIANTS editor. Kinda difficult at first but i catched on fast and am now almost done with my new map. i will probably release it in a week or so. still looking for some testers. hint hint.
p.s. The map i made is for FS 2013

moddermack:
kinda hard to explain in words, i will try and make a tutorial over that sometime soon ( tonight possibly)
