Hi all.

I'm starting a new tutorial section on courseplay.
This is also my fist tutorial that is voiced so please bear with me.  Grin

Courseplay is a tool for having machines perform many different tasks for you. Ones that the default AI helper can't do. For example, Courseplay is perfect for unloading a combine, driving the chaff from the chopper to the farm or the BGA.
Courseplay has been developed continually during the past 3 years. By now, you can even press bales, collect hay, cultivate, fertilize, seed fields, mow some grass or empty your BGA silo.

Besides the tutorials that I'm doing, there is a new courseplay user manual section as well.

This is the first Courseplay tutorial in a series of tutorials I'm making for Farming Simulator 2013.
Actually it's a version 3 of the original video I made, since Courseplay v3.4 have been released.
In this tutorial I'll show where to download and install Courseplay v3.4 to Farming Simulator 2013.
I will also show how to get the developing version in case you want to help testing further versions of Courseplay.

It's a very good idea and I will watch the series for the tutorial.  But I don't think I will install it until it's bug free and accepted here at FS-UK.  I have just installed it and there are three errors showing up in the logfile without even doing anything.

And for those that are trying to search for other information and have never heard of this mod, it's called Courseplay, not Courceplay.

On Setings. Where you can change HOW you open up courseplay, left + delete means LeftCrtl + delete Smiley Found that out by accident.
Also Pathfinding means that the Tractor will TRY and NOT drive over the crops to unload the Combine, instead take a round about way to get to the combine to unload it Smiley

Satis, what a fantastic tutorial, well done. I have looked at using courseplay several times but always got confused by other tutorials on how to use it. I have now got a better reason to try it again.

On another note, and slightly off topic, what program are you using to make and edit your videos, seems a lot better than mine Tongue Thanks.

After following the tutorial in the first video I get the following errors in my log file.  Any ideas Satis or anyone?  Savegame2 is the only active slot in the game at the moment if that helps.

Wrongway Those errors for the 3 items are because those textures are of NON standard sizes.
For instance the hud was like 308 X 296 or what ever.
I just re-sized them say the hud 512 X 256 etc etc etc Smiley
No more of those errors exist for me now after resizing Smiley

Thank's havoc.  Where do you do the hud editing?  I can see that the hud looks a bit squashed up.

Is the first error line I get because courseplay hasn't saved a game into the slot yet.

I use Paint.Net.
I just loaded the Hud pic into it.
Open Courseplay zip look for a folder img
Open that
Then open hud_bg.dds
In paint.net click
Image then re-size

Make sure Mantain aspect ratio is unticked
Width=512
Height=256

Save it

Rinse and repeat for the other 2 errored items

I find pathfinding to be unreliable though and makes the tractor try to drive over the combine or stop in front of it about 2 out of 3 times it comes to unload the harvester.

It seems to have worked ok on the first file Havok, hud_bg.dds but if I resize the blank.dds from 10 x 10 to 8 x 8 it totally messes up the hud.  What size did you end up using?
